Overview
The Texas Association of Counties has representatives
for every county to help our members obtain insurance
coverages tailored to the individual needs of that county.
TAC's field representatives provide risk management
consultation and technical assistance on coverages and
pooling. They also act to coordinate resources and other
services to member counties.
Staff maintains professional designations
for risk management services. This high-level of training,
coupled with years of county specific experience, enables
TAC to provide services and expertise far beyond what
they would receive in the commercial insurance market.
In addition to insurance, field representatives
are an important resource that county officials can
rely upon for day-to-day questions and to help identify
needs. They serve as association representatives in
gathering information and providing assistance on matters
that relate to Texas counties.
