Overview — CountyChoice Silver Retiree Benefits Plan
The Texas Association of Counties Health and Employee Benefits Pool (TAC HEBP) provides Medicare-eligible retirees with medical coverage through CountyChoice Silver. In an effort to ensure that our Counties have the best coverage and rates available in the market, TAC HEBP participated in an RFP for retiree benefits through the Public Employee Benefits Alliance (PEBA). As a result of this RFP, Aetna will now be providing the CountyChoice Silver coverage effective January 1, 2007.
