The Texas Association of Counties has prepared a 17-minute video, “County Government: There When You Need It,” that describes the structure and history of Texas county government and explains the role and functions of the various county offices.
Also, county officials or teachers who wish to use the video for educational purposes may download this zipped file (33MB) and save to the local computer.
