Overview
Soaring fuel costs, increased spending for the criminal justice system, and falling revenue for counties are just a few of the problems facing Texas counties. Locating the best and safest investment opportunities for county funds is becoming increasingly important for every county.
This Level II program features highly qualified speakers addressing key issues in determining where the economy is headed and how to ensure the safety of principal, portfolio liquidity, and optimal return in the coming months. For county investment officers to make correct investment decisions, it is critical that they be informed about short and long term economic conditions.
