Course Description

The Administrative Training Workshop is a separate event designed to provide specific administrative training curriculum for Constitutional County Judges.  The Workshop provides training on the whole range of emergency management situations – hurricanes, floods, tornadoes, explosions, epidemics and terrorist attacks. While a record is maintained of attendance at the administrative training workshops, they do not meet the statutory requirements for judicial education and cannot be used to satisfy the hours required by the Court of Criminal Appeals

Objectives

Judges completing the workshop will better know how to deal with local citizens, the media and state officials in supervising and coordinating emergency rescue and recovery programs.
