The Annual Training Conference for County Court Assistants will be held at the St. Anthony Hotel in San Antonio. Don't miss out on this informative conference for judges' staff. The conference is limited to 200 participants. Make sure to register early!

Course Description
This conference is a 14-hour course in judicial and management topics pertaining to the specific responsibilities of County Court staff. Conference faculty includes peers, attorneys and professional educators.

Objectives
After completing this course, participants will be able to improve their knowledge of:

• Open Meetings and Handling Open Records Requests, Records and Paper Management
• Comprehend civil cases, appellate jurisdiction, criminal procedures
• Understand probate, mental health, guardianship, and juvenile hearings
• Be aware of the procedures of commissioners court

Reimbursement
County court assistants and staff will be reimbursed at state grant rates for allowable travel, lodging, and meal expenses. A county may send more than one person. The conference is limited to 200 participants.
