Overview

Being prepared takes on new meaning in today’s governments and courts where all documents and records originate, are stored and transferred digitally. Technology training, expertise, hardware and software and security were unheard of when the phase “be prepared” was coined.  Processes that were futuristic or isolated a few years ago are now necessities.  Being Prepared to function in a digital environment is a big job with lots of decision points and county officials, employees and IT specialists need new ways of thinking and new skill sets to address the challenge.

TAC’s 2007 Courts and Local Government Technology Conference, focuses on key aspects of electronic government with special emphasis on paperless and digital applications. Your registration to the conference, which is in conjunction with the Government Technology Conference, will admit attendees to major GTC events and exhibitions. Registration includes specialized pre-conference educational workshops on January 30 for Justice Court training, Municipal Courts and Information Technology training and General Technology training.
