Course Description
This conference is a 14-hour course in judicial and management topics pertaining to the specific responsibilities of County Court Staff.  Conference faculty includes peers, attorneys and professional educators.

Objectives
After completing this course, participants will be able to:

• Understand probate, mental health, and DWLS issues
• apply postings to the county web site
• Understand open meetings-open records request changes from the 80th Legislature
• Understand Commissioner's Court procedures

Reimbursement
County Court Assistants and staff will be reimbursed at state approved rates for allowable travel, lodging and meal expenses.  A county may send more than one person.  The conference is limited to 200 participants.

County judges secretaries, administrative assistants, and court assistants.
