Course Description:
The future is now! It is essential to keep current on new technologies and systems that help make our digital world work. Today’s government offices and court rooms, where documents and records originate, are now operated digitally. Technology training, expertise, hardware and software knowledge is required. Processes that were futuristic or isolated a few years ago are now necessities. Functioning in a digital environment is a big job with lots of decision points.
County officials, employees and IT specialists need to know the new ways of thinking and the current systems that address this challenge. The 2008 Courts and Local Government Technology Conference continues to focus on key aspects of electronic government with special emphasis on paperless and digital applications.
