Course Description
Human Resource Management has rapidly changed at the federal level with new and amended employment laws and regulations. Elected officials, HR staff and supervisors need to stay informed to keep complaints and litigation in check. The curriculum covers the basics of the Family and Medical Leave Act, Military Family Leave Act and the Fair Labor Standards Act. The seminar dispels some workplace employment myths and shows supervisors practical ways to deal with employees. Change is inevitable and seems to be occurring faster than any time in our history. This enlightening and interactive seminar will help you cope with changes in today's fast-paced workplace.
