General Information
The County Court Assistants Training Conference is sponsored by the Texas Judicial Academy and partially funded by a Judicial and Court Personnel Training Fund Grant administered by the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals. The Court Assistants Conference program is planned by the Court Assistants Advisory Committee and produced by the County Judges Education Committee. The Texas Judicial Academy is a partnership between the County Judges Education Committee of the Texas Association of Counties and Texas Tech University School of Law.
Program Overview
The Court Assistants Training Conference presents an opportunity for the county judge’s staff to learn more about the management and operation of judicial and administrative procedures in the office of the county judge. This conference is carefully designed to provide assistants with knowledge that can enable the county judge to be secure that the procedures of the office will be carried out in a professional manner and carefully understood.
Who Should Attend?
County judges' secretaries, administrative assistants and court assistants are encouraged to attend.
Reimbursement
Reimbursements are allowable for state approved travel, lodging and meal expenses. However, reimbursement will be provided for county judges assistants only.
