Overview
Level II brings together investment officers, economists and other experts to discuss influences on the current economy and what smart investors should investigate before investing. Financial experts and seasoned investment officers provide the most up-to-date information on Government Sponsored Enterprises (GSE's), swaps, the domestic and global economies, monetary policy and the Public Funds Investment Act. Join us for 20 hours of timely public funds investing topics at this year's County Investment Officer Level II training.
Learning Outcomes
CIO’s successfully completing Level II can:
- Know what to look for in a broker before investing;
- Evaluate their banks' financials;
- Have the most up-to-date information on Government Sponsored Enterprises;
- Understand swaps;
- Sharpen their math of finance skills;
- Analyze how emotions influence investors and financial markets; and
- Identify the effects of changes in Rule 2A7 on pools.
Registration Information
If your annual CIO dues are paid, no additional registration fee is required for this event. For those who have attended the CIO Level I, but are no longer active in the CIO certification program, the registration fee for this 20-hour training is $150.

Who Should Attend?
Attendance is open to Texas Association of Counties Certified County Investment Officers (CIOs) and those who attended CIO Level I.
