Who Handles Your Workers’ Compensation Claims?
In recent years, counties across the state have experienced changes at key positions within their organizations. Some of these individuals are responsible for the initial documentation and administration of work-related injuries.
These individuals are a valuable asset to our members and the injured worker. Their knowledge on workers’ compensation insurance and familiarity with the services offered by the association are imperative for the timely delivery of benefits. Communication between all parties involved in the claims management process is also important in good claims management practices.
These workshops are intended to further develop their claims management skills, demonstrate the benefits offered by participating on the Texas Association of Counties Workers’ Compensation Coverage and to improve communication between counties, injured workers and the Association.
