This site provides the means for us to help each other. Counties in Texas have different staffing levels and expertise. All counties have procurement resources that are worth sharing. Sharing these resources helps to enhance the profession and allows all of us to operate on a more competent level. Even the most experienced purchasing staff member can discover something new by examining a bid package prepared by someone else.

The solicitation packages are classified by NIGP code as used by the state of Texas. Packages are stored in numerical order according to the NIGP number. Indexes are available to assist your search.

This site contains links as well. These links will direct you to sites that provide useful purchasing information. Some sites provide additional solicitation libraries and some sites provide specification and other related help.

You are encouraged to participate in the use of this site by downloading information here as well as submitting your best examples of solicitation packages you have assembled and used. The constant exchange of ideas should help the novice become more adept and prevent the experienced pro from becoming stale and outdated.
