- Hispanic or Latino
- The number of people who indicated that they were or 'Hispanic or Latino' ethnicity. See note.
- Adult population only (18 years and older)
- The percent of the adult population of the indicated race or ethnicity. For example, 'Asian' indicates the percent of the adult population who indicated 'Asian' for race. Note that this is the percent of the ADULT population and NOT of the total population.
- Note: Hispanic or Latino
- 'Hispanic or Latino' is considered an ethnicity by the U.S. Census Bureau and not a race. Individuals
of any race or races may be considered 'Hispanic or Latino'. For example, one can be 'White' or 'Black or African American' and 'Hispanic
or Latino', alternately one could be multi-racial (i.e., 'White', 'Black or African American'
and 'American Indian and Alaska Native') and 'Hispanic or Latino'. Therefore, when adding up the percentages for the various races
do not include the percentage for 'Hispanic or Latino'.
