Texas County Populations from the 2010 Redistricting Data.
Redistricting data is slightly different than the "normal" data from the Census. This is due to how certain
people are counted. For example, military members serving overseas are counted as residing at their home of record for
redistricting purposes only. Therefore, the data that is released later may differ from the redistricting data found
in this table.

the results of research and analysis undertaken by Census Bureau Staff. It has undergone a more limited
review than official Census Bureau publications.

the Population of Texas Counties 1990-1999 This is a link
to a text file maintained by the U.S. Census Bureau as the Texas part of the U. S. Census
Bureau Estimates of the Population of Counties: Annual Time Series, August 1, 1990, to
July 1, 1999 (includes revised April 1, 1990, census population counts). When clicked, it
should either display the file or prompt you to download. Once downloaded, it can be opened

The Hispanic Population in the United States
This 5 page Current Population Report is in Adobe's .pdf format. It provides statistics on the
civilian noninstitutional Hispanic population of the United States based on the March 1999 Current

FIPS Home Page Under the
Information Technology Management Reform Act (Public Law 104-106), the Secretary of Commerce
approves standards and guidelines that are developed by the National Institute of Standards
and Technology (NIST) for Federal computer systems. These standards and guidelines are issued
by NIST as Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) for use government-wide.

editorial changes, updated references to documents and organizations and other minor changes to
FIPS PUB 4-1.
- FIPS 55-3 - State Codes, County
Codes, Place Codes, Place Names, MSA, Congressional Districts provides codes for named
populated places, primary county divisions (such as townships and census county divisions),
American Indian and Alaska Native areas, and several kinds of facilities. It also provides
comparable codes for counties and equivalent legal and statistical entities. In addition to
