The Texas Railroad Commission (RRC) on Oct. 27 asked TAC to alert counties about stimulus funds available for energy conservation, namely conversion of water heaters as described in this letter from Commissioner Elizabeth Jones and a form that must be signed.
However, the deadline to turn in the paperwork is Nov. 6, so turn-around time is very short.

Patrick says they are anxious to get out the word and that it’s a simple, straightforward and user-friendly vehicle to access some of these funds in a way that will help conserve energy and lower heating bills – if you can make the deadline.
