Carey Boethel - Legislative Director
Carey Boethel has worked for Harris County District Clerk RJ Lindley, Justice of the Peace Jack Treadway, the Houston Legal Foundation (5th Circuit, Justice Sam Johnson) and the F.B.I. Department of Justice, Washington, D.C.. He holds a B.S. degree from the University of Houston and a J.D. from Texas Tech School of Law.
Carey served two elected terms as County Judge of Lee County from 1975-82. After 20 years of practicing law he became the director of the TAC Legislative Department in 1991. Carey provides oversight of the Legislative Department and is the director of the Policy Analysis Group.
