Ender Reed

contact us

Ender Reed rejoined the Legislative Department in October 2010 after a previous stint in the department from 2005-2007. Prior to joining TAC, Reed worked for the Texas House of Representatives as a legislative director. He served as a director of a non-profit voter registration organization in Dayton, OH, where he gained experience partnering with county governments while working on the elections process. Reed also worked on international trade issues for the U.S. Department of State in the Bureau for Economic and Business Affairs. There he learned first-hand, from his work on foreign affairs policy, the importance of understanding the mantra that “all politics are local.”

A native of Harris County, Texas, Reed earned his B.A. from Occidental College in Los Angeles, California, concentrating in diplomacy and world affairs and economics. He also holds a J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law, and is in the process of completing an LL.M. in international law from the University of Lyon in France.
