Haley Click joined the TAC legislative staff in August 2004 after graduating from Texas State University with a B.A. in communication studies. She worked with the Legislative Department part time until May 2005, then moved to the TAC Education Department. From 2005-2010, she coordinated and managed the TAC annual conference, law enforcement, human resources, and newly elected officials regional programs, and assisted affiliate organizations such as the Texas Association of County Engineers and Road Administrators, the Texas Jail Association and the Texas Chief Deputies Association with conference management.
In January of 2011, Click returned to the legislative staff as operations manager. She is responsible for:
- office management
- legislative support
- coordinating communications
- legislative events
