Paul Emerson - State Financial Analyst

Paul Emerson joined the County Information Project in April 2006 as a State Financial Analyst.

Prior employment: Chief of Staff for State Representative, Speaker Pro Tempore Sylvester Turner; three years as a budget analyst for the Senate Finance Committee and a year as a policy analyst for Senator Rodney Ellis; and five years as a fiscal note coordinator for the Legislative Budget Board.

Paul holds degrees from Oregon State University (B.S.), Prairie View A&M University (M.B.A.), and Thurgood Marshall School of Law (J.D.). He began his career in state government by working as a fiscal note coordinator for the Legislative Budget Board.
