EECBG Webinar
Oct. 30, 10:30 a.m.

The Comptroller’s State Energy Conservation Office (SECO) will be hosting a Webinar for the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) Program on Friday, Oct. 30 at 10:30 a.m. Under the program, 244 non-entitlement counties (those that did not receive a direct allocation from the federal government) are eligible for funding, ranging from $20,000 to $150,000 per county, for various energy efficiency projects. Rebates for energy efficient appliances. Guidelines not yet released, though the State Energy Conservation Office (SECO) has indicated that the funding will be divided according to a population-based formula. To read more, visit the SECO Recovery site.

Energy Efficiency & Conservation Block Grant (EECBG)

 

EECBG pass-through funds will be administered through SECO for projects involving energy efficiency, conservation and renewable energy programs to counties that did not receive a direct allocation from the U.S. Department of Energy. The Comptroller sent informational packets with notice of allocation awards to all eligible counties during the week of Sept. 21. Eligible counties should review these packets for important deadlines and procedures. Click here to see whether your county is eligible for an allocation.
