CIRA Launches Upgraded Email Service for Counties
Starting Dec. 1, Texas counties that receive email service through TAC’s County Information Resources Agency will notice a new look and feel to their email system.
The new system helps county employees keep on top of office updates in or out of the workplace.
“This will help county officials stay in touch with their offices while they are out of the office,” said Joel Green, CIRA operations manager. “They can access their email from anywhere in the world, as long as they have an Internet
connection.”
The new email solution, Sun Convergence, is an upgrade from the former solution — Sun Communications Express. The new email system is more user-friendly and more customizable for the end users — counties. And county employees should not worry about losing any features. According to Green, the new version has all the same features; it is just easier to use and more intuitive for users.
Despite all the new features, counties will continue paying the same price they are paying now. |
