Oath of Service

Immediate Board of Directors Past President J.D. Johnson swears in TAC President Vernon Cook, President-Elect Betsy Price and Vice President Bruce Elfant at the end of the Dec. 3, 2009 meeting. Cook is the Roberts County judge, Price is the Tarrant County tax-assessor collector and Elfant is a Travis County constable.

The Board also gave appreciation to its departing board members: Hays Commissioner Debbie Ingalsbe, Brazos Sheriff Chris Kirk, Brazos Clerk Karen McQueen, Denton Treasurer Bobbie Mitchell, Brazoria Treasurer Sharon Reynolds, San Patricio Judge Terry Simpson, Taylor Commissioner Chuck Statler and Bexar Auditor Tommy Tompkins. New to the Board are Oldham Judge Don Allred, Tom Green Judge Mike Brown, Bell Judge Jon Burrows, El Paso Auditor Edward Dion, Calhoun Commissioner Roger Galvan, Brazoria Clerk Joyce Hudman, Nacogdoches Sheriff Thomas Kerss, Tom Green Treasurer Dianna Spieker and Victoria District Clerk Cathy Stuart.
