Latest Issue: Volume 1, Issue 4 - Fall 2002
(PDF Format)

This publication is brought to you by the Texas Association of Counties in partnership with Public Technologies, Incorporated (PTI) and the County Information Resources Agency (CIRA) in a joint effort to provide timely and useful
information relating to technology for county government.

Read the latest issue in PDF format or read past issues within the E-County archives section.

How a County Can Join CIRA

Step 1: Contact Gayle Latham (800-456-5974) and request the appropriate forms.

Step 2: Present the forms as an agenda item in an open meeting of the commissioners court for approval.

Step 3: It’s very important that the commissioners court assigns someone to be the Agency Coordinator between the county and CIRA. This person should be the county’s primary computer person (or the person with the most knowledge about computers). They will be the county’s contact between CIRA and the county.

Step 4: Return a signed copy of the forms addressed to Gayle Latham, Texas Association of Counties, 1210 San Antonio Street, Austin, Texas 78701.
