TAC Info Resources Agency Seeks Feedback
Staff of TAC’s County Information Resources Agency (TAC CIRA) are going on the road in October to learn from county officials and staff how TAC can improve its CIRA services and seek ways counties can collaborate regionally on their Internet/software needs.
Three regional “roundtable discussions” will be held:
Oct. 2 in Tyler at Smith County 911 Emergency Operations Center, 11325 Spur 248; Oct. 14 in Richmond at Fort Bend County George Memorial Library, 1001 Golfview, Room 2B; and Oct. 29 in Fort Worth at Tarrant County Plaza Bldg., Kornfeld Room, 200 Taylor Street.
The free sessions, which begin at 9:30 a.m., will not only include educational sessions about information technology but also provide officials and staff with the opportunity to propose ideas to address challenges regarding technology with TAC CIRA and other nearby counties.
“We want to explore opportunities for regional collaborations to expand county capabilities with cost and resource-sharing projects and share information about on current CIRA sponsored projects sponsored by TAC,” said TAC CIRA Director Gayle Latham.
More information is available on TAC’s Web site.
