Officials Can Register for Conflict Resolution Skills Seminar

County officials often negotiate conflicts in their day-to-day work load. An upcoming seminar held in Austin aims to develop and increase skills in collaboration and dispute resolution.

The event, Innovations in Collaboration and Conflict Resolution: Skills Enrichment Institute, is sponsored by the Center for Public Policy Dispute Resolution at the University of Texas School of Law and will be held at the Lakeway Resort in Austin from July 29-31.

The program is an intensive, two-day event allowing attendees to focus on one of six different sessions — all focused on a different aspect of conflict resolution. The seminar features trainers and speakers with national and worldwide recognition among their peers.

For more information or to register visit the event Web page. Please note the upcoming early bird deadline (Sunday, June 28) for registration and for reserving a hotel room.

County officials can also view the event brochure to learn more.
