Continuing Education

The County Commissioners Education Committee has approved 17 hours of credit for county commissioners. This includes credit hours for the Wednesday afternoon Commissioners Court Advanced Curriculum session, which runs concurrent with the tournaments. The judicial education session on Tuesday afternoon is approved for four hours of continuing education for county judges.​

Advanced Curriculum

Learn more about your county offices. On Wednesday afternoon, take advantage of four Advanced Curriculum courses. County officials have the opportunity to obtain credits to complete the Advanced Curriculum. We will present certificates during Thursday’s luncheon banquet to those who have completed the curriculum.

Scheduled Activities

Several fun activities give you an opportunity to network with officials from across the state, including the President’s Party and Exhibitor Appreciation night. Have a great time at Host Court Night, hosted by Montgomery County. Wednesday is also the popular tournament afternoon and spouse day of activities.​

You must register for the conference in order to book your hotel room. Once you have registered, you will receive a link to the hotel room in your registration confirmation email.  Room reservation deadline is Sept. 14. 

Room Rate: $185 per night under the County Judges and Commissioners Association of Texas room block. Cut-off date for accepting reservations in this room block is Sept. 14.  All reservations must be accompanied by a first-night room deposit or guaranteed with major credit card.  Reservation cancellations must be made 72 hours prior to arrival.

Receiving your hotel cancellations will help move fellow attendees off of the waitlist. We kindly request you do not post your reservation on the listserv as this hinders the waitlist management.
