The Texas Public Funds Investment Conference helps you piece together the puzzle of your county’s investment options. Experts from the financial industry discuss the influences on the current economy and timely trends in investing. This training is open to all county officials and staff who want to learn more about county investment operations.
Participants successfully completing this conference can:
  • Review collateralization and safekeeping services;
  • Examine the interrelationships between international trade and tariffs;
  • Gain a more in-depth understanding of supra nationals;
  • Discuss cybersecurity and the current attack trends used by hackers and fraudsters; and
  • Analyze factors influencing the U.S. economy.

The conference rate is $135 single/ double, plus tax. Hotel reservations must be secured by Wednesday, October 17th. After Wednesday, October 17th, all rooms are subject to availability and a price increase.
Any reservation not cancelled 72 hours prior to arrival will be subject to one night room and tax cancellation fee.

Refunds after Thursday, October 25th will be subject to an administrative fee equal to one-half of the registration fee. No refund requests will be honored after Thursday, November 15th.
