TAC's legislative staff will be in Linden on Wednesday, April 8, to hear what you and your county are interested in and concerned about as the 87th Legislative Session approaches.
These regional meetings provide an opportunity for county officials to come together and discuss legislative issues important to county government and your region. These gatherings provide valuable guidance for TAC legislative staff as they meet with legislative offices, coordinate with county official associations and research legislative proposals.
The meeting will be held from 10 a.m. to noon (lunch to follow the meeting) at The County Seat Country Cooking Cafe, 109 N. Main Street, Linden, Texas. Lunch will be provided, and there is no cost to attend.
The Legislative Exchanges are an excellent opportunity for you to talk about issues and concerns, share solutions and ideas that will help keep local control and county government strong, and of course, ask questions. All county officials and staff are encouraged to attend. Pre-register today.
If you have any questions or need additional information, please contact Amy Ruedas in the Legislative Department at (800) 456-5974.
