The 73rd Annual Conference will provide the most recent and relevant information to enhance your knowledge and to assist you in performing your official duties. This is also a great opportunity to get together with fellow treasurers from across the state.

Payroll and the IRS
Making sure we have a good understanding of the IRS rules with respect to payroll is important to avoid fines, added fees and penalties. During this session we will highlight any changes the IRS has made in the last few years. We will also learn about proper classifications of employees. We will discuss the importance of self-auditing payroll processes and policies. We will review fringe benefit issues and changes that have been made recently. We will also go over properly paying election workers and give best practice tips for K9 officers.
