Overview
The Impaired Driving Symposium is a continuing judicial education program designed especially for Texas judges by the Texas Association of Counties, the Texas Center for the Judiciary, the Texas Justice Court Training Center and the Texas Municipal Courts Education Center. This program is generously funded by a grant from the Texas Department of Transportation.
County judges will be reimbursed through the Texas Association of Counties in accordance with grant guidelines.
There is no fee to attend this conference.

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Odessa Marriott Hotel & Conference Center. Rooms may be booked online or by calling the hotel directly and requesting a room in the TAC – TJCTC Impaired Driver Program room block. The room rate is $169 per night plus taxes, which is below the current state per diem rate. This group rate is available until July 2. After July 2, the room rate is based on hotel availability.

The Impaired Driving Symposium provides eight hours of judicial education credit for constitutional county judges. Application is pending with the State Bar of Texas to determine MCLE credit for attorneys.
