The 77th Annual Justices of the Peace and Constables Association Conference will be held June 21-25 in Denton.

The conference will offer up to 16 hours of continuing education for justices of the peace and court personnel, as well as 20 hours of education in the civil process as required by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) for constables and deputy constables (equivalent to TCOLE 1415 and TCOLE 3101 courses).

This year’s sessions include “Real-Life Weird Things Constables Have Levied,” “Partnerships in the Courthouse Post-Pandemic” and “What Rights Do You Have to Be Here: Guests, Tenants and Squatter.”

The Texas Association of Counties Risk Management Pool will also provide its resistance response simulator for hands-on demonstrations throughout the conference.
