The annual County Judges and Commissioners Association of Texas Conference will be held Oct. 11-14 at the Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Round Rock.
Two education tracks will ensure that attendees get the most out of the conference. The judges track will cover current judicial topics, and the commissioners track will focus on county roads, bonds and certificates of obligation, redistricting and public information acts.
Other presentations will cover county cybersecurity, elections, legal issues and grant seeking under the American Rescue Plan.
The President’s Party, the Exhibitor Appreciation Night, Williamson County Host Court Night, and domino and golf tournaments will offer opportunities to network. Spouse activities are also available.
Continuing education classes and an advanced curriculum are available.
Early registration continues until Sept. 17.
Also occurring in the fall is the Panhandle County Judges and Commissioners Association Conference on Sept. 30 in Amarillo. It will feature sessions on the American Rescue Plan, updates on legislative action and more.
