The Texas Association of Counties Risk Management Pool (TAC RMP) members’ staff will attend several regional workshops through November that will cover the most pressing topics in law enforcement, risk control and human resources.

Experts serving TAC RMP will be traveling to all corners of the state for one-day workshops that will allow members to return home by dinnertime.

The law enforcement sessions will cover ways to reduce risk while in the field, cybersecurity trends, and strategies for becoming a successful leader. Risk control topics include preventing common fire risks, protecting property against natural elements and taking the proper care of roofs. Human resources sessions include understanding the Family and Medical Leave Act, using documentation best practices, mitigating cybersecurity risks and understanding 207(k) provisions for law enforcement.

Hotel accommodations will not be offered, but breakfast and lunch will be served.

Continuing education credits will be offered.

Visit www.county.org/calendar for more information on the locations of the workshops and to register.
