The Texas Public Funds Investment Conference will take place Nov. 4-5 in Houston.
Finance experts will discuss the influences on the current economy and timely trends in investing. The training is open to all county officials and staff members who want to learn more about county investment operations.
Attendance at the conference provides 10 hours of investment education as required by the Public Funds Investment Act, and 10 hours of continuing education credit for Public Funds Investment Act compliance and for members of the County Investment Academy.
Applications for continuing education credit have been made for county commissioners, county and district clerks, treasurers, tax assessor-collectors, and auditors.
