The Texas Public Funds Investment Conference will be held online Nov. 4-6. Experts from the financial industry will discuss influences on the economy and timely trends in investing.

The training is open to all county officials and staff members who want to learn more about county investment operations.
The conference covers 10 hours of investment education as required by Section 2256.008 of the Public Funds Investment Act. Ten hours of continuing education credit are available for Public Funds Investment Act compliance and for members of the County Investment Academy. Credit approval is pending for commissioners, county and district clerks, tax assessor-collectors, treasurers, auditors and CPAs.
Looking ahead to 2021, the Basics of County Investments Course is set for March 9-12 in San Marcos.
