Birding by Bicycle

Resaca de la Palma State Park in Cameron County is one of nine parks in the Rio Grande Valley that make up the World Birding Center. It is home to dozens of very vocal bird species, making it a wonderful place to both watch and listen to nature. Biking is the suggested form of transport around the semi-tropical park; bikes are available to rental. Photo by Managing Editor Anna McGarity.
