LAST LOOK

When it comes to exercising your right to vote, Texas counties make sure this important step in the democratic process runs smoothly. An example of how Williamson County prepares for elections is its public logic and accuracy test. During the test, electronic ballots are cast for each option in each race from preprinted test ballots. Results are then tabulated and compared to ensure accuracy. Williamson County Elections Department contributed the photo.

County officials and employees (and any other Texas resident) can submit a photo to be considered for Last Look. Email your high-resolution photo to magazine@county.org.
