What is the purpose of the court facility fee fund?
The court facility fee fund was added by SB 41 in the 87th Regular Legislative Session under Local Government Code §135.152. This fund can be used for the construction, renovation, or improvement of facilities that house the courts or pay the principal of, interest on, and costs of issuance of bonds issued for the construction, renovation, or improvement of the facilities.
