Legislative Consultant - Federal Issues
Megan Molleur comes to TAC from the Court of Criminal Appeals where she served as the grant attorney and administrator for the Judicial Education Office for over 10 years. Her knowledge of state laws, government administration and the state budget process, accompanied by her experience working with all branches of state government and nonprofit trade associations, are invaluable in her advocacy for counties at the federal level.
A native of San Antonio, Molleur attended Colorado State University where she received her Bachelor of Arts in political science with a minor in Spanish and her Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s University School of Law. She began her career serving as a legislative aide and committee clerk in the Texas Legislature and as a fundraiser for several political campaigns, both federal and local.
