GLO Seeks County Input for Disaster Recovery Planning Funds

The General Land Office (GLO) is conducting a survey to collect more local and regional input for the $137 million Community Development Block Grants for Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funds available for local, regional and state planning.

The monies do not require a local match. The survey is seeking input for planning projects, including flood control, drainage projects and infrastructure projects to help mitigate and lessen the impact of future disasters. The survey was distributed to several stakeholder groups, including county officials.

Counties should consider completing the survey, which concludes on Sept. 14. Visit the GLO website to view the press release and complete the survey.
