Following a shift to a virtual format in 2020 due to the pandemic, TAC’s Texas Public Funds Investment Conference returned to an in-person gathering and welcomed over 100 guests for the two-day educational event. Attendees had the opportunity to earn statutorily required continuing education hours with their participation in a 10-session overview of subjects relevant to the investment of county funds.
A dozen panelists from academia and the public sector offered updates on subjects including bond yields and issuance, interest rates, data security and macroeconomic trends. The program also included onsite socializing and networking events.
Next year’s conference will return to Houston Nov. 3-4, at the Westin Hotel Houston, Memorial City. Registration, agenda and further event details are forthcoming and will be posted to the 2022 Texas Public Funds Investment Conference website.
