The North and East Texas County Judges and Commissioners Association met in Waco on July 12-15 for its annual conference. A total of 165 registrants attended the conference, which offered continuing education classes for county judges and commissioners. Leon County Judge Byron Ryder was sworn in as the new president. The association also swore in new board members: Cherokee County Commissioner Kelly Traylor is first vice president; Wood County Judge Lucy Hebron is second vice president; Johnson County Commissioner Larry Woolley is secretary/treasurer; and Cass County Commissioner Paul Cothren is the immediate past president.

TAC congratulates the association's new officers, and we look forward to providing our continued support to the organization and its members.
