The South Texas County Judges and Commissioners Association of Texas met in South Padre Island on June 29-July 1 for its annual conference. Approximately 280 registrants attended the conference, which offered continuing education classes for county judges and commissioners. Nueces County Commissioner Joe Gonzalez was sworn in as the new president. Other officers were also sworn in: Jackson County Judge Jill Sklar is first vice president; Bee County Commissioner Sammy Farias is second vice president; and Comal County Commissioner Jen Crownover is immediate past president.
TAC congratulates the association’s new officers, and we look forward to providing our continued support to the organization and its members.
