TCEQ to Hold Roundtable Discussions on Public Water Systems

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) provided the following information:

"The TCEQ is continuing to gather information about all of the factors that impacted public water systems during Winter Storm Uri through our after-action review. We are conducting a series of virtual roundtable discussions to determine what is needed to help public water systems be prepared for future severe weather events. The goal of these sessions is to gather information about what new regulations, trainings, guidance, and other best practices may be impactful in mitigating the impacts from future significant weather events.

"Your participation is important and we need your input. Registration is now open for the roundtable discussions. For more information about the dates, discussion topics, and how to register, please visit our webpage here.

"As a reminder, the public water system survey is still open. Please take a moment to complete the survey even if you were not impacted by the storm. Not only do we want to hear about the challenges you faced that week but also to learn about best practices that helped mitigate the impact of the storm. You can access the survey at www.tceq.texas.gov/goto/survey-uri
