More than 80 county judges and commissioners met on Sept. 8-10 in Study Butte for their annual Far West Texas Judges and Commissioners meeting.

More than 80 county judges and commissioners met on Sept. 8-10 in Study Butte for their annual Far West Texas Judges and Commissioners meeting. The officials were able to obtain 10 hours of continuing education for commissioners and four hours for county judges. A new board was elected: President, Winkler County Judge Charlie Wolf; Vice President, Mason County Commissioner Reggie Loeffler; Secretary, Andrews County Judge Charlie Falcon; Immediate Past President, Upton County Commissioner Pete Jackson.
