Texas House Committee Releases Report on Uvalde Shooting

The panel is one of two tasked by Gov. Abbott to investigate the May 24 shooting at Robb Elementary School.

In the aftermath of the May 24 shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Gov. Greg Abbott charged the Texas House and Senate with creating committees to study the events that led up to the shooting, the response by law enforcement during the shooting and potential legislative action. On July 17, the House Investigative Committee on the Robb Elementary Shooting, chaired by Rep. Dustin Burrows (R-Lubbock), published a 77-page report based on hours of interviews with responding officers, state and federal agency officials, and survivors and their families.
