The South Texas County Judges and Commissioners Association of Texas met in Corpus Christi on June 13-16 for its annual conference. About 280 registrants attended the conference, which offered continuing education classes for county judges and commissioners.
Jackson County Judge Jill Sklar was sworn in as the association’s new president. Other new officers include Bee County Commissioner Sammy Farias as first vice president, Hidalgo County Commissioner David Fuentes as second vice president and Nueces County Commissioner Joe Gonzalez as immediate past president.
TAC congratulates the association’s new officers and looks forward to providing continued support to the organization and its members.
