The Texas Association of Counties' 2022 Legislative Conference is essential to preparing for the 88th Legislature, which convenes on Jan. 10, 2023. Join us on Aug. 24-26 in Austin to connect with your fellow county officials, state legislators and subject-matter experts to explore state and federal issues important to your county and constituents.

The agenda includes 10 breakout sessions moderated by TAC legislative consultants. The state's new election practices and procedures, property taxes, bail bond reform, behavioral health, the American Rescue Plan, the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, emergency management, and state and federal grant opportunities for counties are among the topics to be discussed. A general session on how to access funding for broadband expansion will close the conference.

This year's gathering follows last year's successful hybrid model. You can choose to attend either in person or online through a virtual conference platform.

Register today and find more information about the conference at www.county.org/legeconference. Reduced in-person and online rates are available through Aug. 8. Half-day and single-day registration options are also available.
